Our Favorite Non-Alcoholic Beverages
From RTD (ready-to-drink) mocktails and RTM (read-to-mix) mocktails to a new generation of craft non-alcoholic beers and some pretty amazing non-alcoholic spirits— we’ve come along way.
Back in the day, it wasn’t super common for adults at our events to come to the bar looking for a non-alcoholic beverage. That is to say, options were a bit limited, so why bother? Sodas, tea, or lemonade made for less refined palates (hi, kids) underwhelmed adults looking to participate in celebrations but not consume alcohol at the same time. Non-alcoholic beer was scarcely available at events, and also underwhelmed when it was available.
Lucky for those of us looking to abstain from alcohol either partially or completely there’s been an amazing evolution of adult-focused non-alcoholic beverage options. From RTD (ready-to-drink) mocktails and RTM (read-to-mix) mocktails to a new generation of craft non-alcoholic beers and some pretty amazing non-alcoholic spirits— we’ve come along way.
Ready-to-Mix

These are vibrant, slightly concentrated mixers made with ingredients we juice and squeeze fresh ourselves. By making them slightly concentrated we’re able to ensure they still have legs to stand on when you mix it with either soda water, a non-alcoholic spirit, or spirit of choice, if you’re so inclined. Ready-to-Drink
Strongwater’s Apertif Spritz is our go to RTD option for quick, easy non-alcoholic mocktails. Made with fresh citrus and bitter herbs to create a European Style, alcohol-free Aperol Spritz experience. Also worth trying: Strongwater Paloma made with grapefruit, hibiscus, rose, and sea salt. Both are perfect partners for warm summer afternoons.
Non-Alcoholic Beer
We’ve tried as many as we could get our hands on and landed on a clear favorite, Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA. Made with a blend of five Northwestern hops, it’s slightly bitter on the palate but balanced by a malty body. Our favorite post-hike libation, or even better, summit treat.
Non-Alcoholic Spirits
We’re big fans of anything local and couldn’t be more excited about Breckenridge Distillery’s new Mock One N/A spirits. Made with juniper, meyer lemon, kaffir lime, and lavender, its perfect mixed with our Good Vibes Only (cucumber, lavender, lemon). Also worth checking out is their non-alcoholic tequila, whiskey, and rum. Best served chilled and (we think) with a fresh-pressed citrus based cocktail/mocktail mixer.
